Seamless Bonding: Our 3 Inch EPDM Splice Tape is the perfect solution for seamlessly joining EPDM membranes. It's ideal for situations where it's impractical to complete the roofing project in a single piece.

Easy Installation: Installing this splice tape is a breeze. Here's a quick guide to get you started:

Overlap by 75mm (3"): Ensure that the two pieces of EPDM membrane you want to join have a 75mm (3") overlap.
Apply Rubber Primer: Fold back the top layer and apply Classicbond rubber primer to both surfaces. Wait for the primer to dry to the touch.
Apply Splice Tape: Starting at one end, stick the tape down onto the bottom EPDM membrane. Smooth it down with your hand to ensure there are no creases.
Peel Away Backing Film: Allow the top membrane to fold back into position, then peel away the backing film at a 45-degree angle while smoothing the top membrane over the seam tape with your hand. You can use a Seam Roller to apply pressure for a secure bond.

Our EPDM seam tape isn't limited to just EPDM membranes; it's also compatible with TPO and PVC roofing systems. In fact, it's often used to cost-effectively repair damaged TPO and PVC roofs, providing a durable alternative to costly replacements.

When you need to join EPDM rubber membrane to uneven or granular built-up roof surfaces, such as felt or asphalt, we recommend using a Termination bar and water cut-off mastic (water block) for optimal results.

Please contact us first before returning any items and do not return to our location.

If you wish to initiate a return for any products, please notify us within 30 days from the date of receiving your order. You can contact us via email at shop@southernroofingltd.co.uk or by calling 01634 869823, and kindly provide your invoice number as a reference.

For all returned items, a full refund will be issued, with the exception of rubber membranes. Rubber membranes are considered bespoke and are cut to size; therefore, they will incur a 40% restocking charge.

Please be aware that the cost of returning the goods to the following address will be borne by the customer unless a different arrangement has been agreed upon before the return. It is important to ensure that the returned goods are in a resalable condition to qualify for a refund. To expedite the return process, please include your invoice number on the packaging. Once the returned goods have been inspected, a credit will be issued accordingly.

Kindly be aware that our rubber membranes are custom-cut to size. We kindly request that customers carefully review their invoice in its entirety and promptly notify us within 1 hour of receiving the invoice if there are any amendments, cancellations, or discrepancies needed. Please note that once the rubber membrane has been cut, a 40% restocking charge will apply. To ensure a smooth process and prevent any inconvenience, we strongly recommend checking your invoice as soon as it is received.
