Installation instructions

Installation is straightforward, but there are a few things to consider:

Overlapping

When calculating how many sheets re required, it is important to allow for the overlap of the sheets . The recommended overlap is at least 75mm on the sides and 200mm on the length.

Sheet coverage

When using the recommended overlap, each corrugated roof sheet will cover a length of 1800mm (5.90ft) and a width of 855mm (2.80ft) approx, making a coverage area of 1.539 M2. Measurements can be increased to eliminate cutting of the sheets or simply allowing a larger overlap.

How to install Corrapol-BT corrugated sheets

Simply overlap the sheets when installing on the sides and length, any excess can simply be cut off using a handsaw or simply increase the overlap to accommodate.

Sheets are then fixed into place using the purposely designed fixings such as fixing screws or drive nails , using using foam eaves filler pieces where needed. If constructing a double pitched roof, it can be finished off with bitumen ridge or for a higher quality look, aluminium ridge bar can be used. Free edges can be covered using side flashing and any abutments can be made watertight with flashing tape .

What are Corrapol corrugated sheets made of?

The sheets are manufactured from a 2mm Bitumen, providing superior weatherproofing for your project. Typically you can expect up to 15 years life expectancy with virtually no maintenance required, if fitted in accordance with the manufacturers guide.

These sheets can absorb a significant amount of sound that might be caused by heavy rainfall, which means that they are ideal for use where quiet is required such as stables roofing or summerhouses.

This product is shipped directly from the manufacturers, so unfortunately are not available for click and collect at our depot.

Delivery would normally take 3 - 5 working days from dispatch ( 7 - 10 working days for Islands and Scottish Highlands).
