These are manufactured by Etex Group Ltd and were formerly known as Marley Eternit Thrutone Slates. The standard size Roofing Slate is 600mm x 300mm which is used over the whole roof area. You would use a Thrutone Double Slate 600mm x 600mm to achieve a staggered bond effect across the roof area which is a must in order to achieve a waterproof finish. The Thrutone slates feature a smooth surface with square cut edges for a sleek, aesthetically pleasing roof finish. They are particularly suitable for complex roof geometries and are one of the strongest slates on the market. These slates are particularly favoured by Architects and Professional Roofing Companies. It is recommended to use a breathable membrane as the underlay to your area. We are offer two great products, The Novia Ultra Plus is an entry level low cost product and the Novia Black Pro is a heavy weight high performance option. With more cement and fibres than any other, Cedral slates are the strongest slates in the market, tough enough to withstand the most volatile weather conditions. There is also a Handy Slaters Tub Option which contains both Copper Nails & Disc Rivets in handy size Bucket. Deliveries are completed Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6pm Only. Etex Cedral Roofing slates will be delivered on very large articulated vehicles which may not be suitable for your location. Please consider this when ordering these materials for delivery. We can offer different types of delivery vehicles upon request, and we urge you to notify us of any restrictions or special criteria that may influence the delivery being completed. Other vehicle types can include Rigid HGV Vehicles and Moffit Forklift Equipped. If a Crane offload or Forklift unloaded type vehicle is required, you should specifically request this by contacting us on 01634 869823 – shop@southernroofingltd.co.uk. Please quote your order when contacting our offices. Failure to notify us of this information can lead to the delivery being aborted/cancelled. A charge will be made to organise the Re-Delivery of your order which will need to be paid in full before this organised. Up to one Hour is allowed to complete your delivery and any additional time will be chargeable and you will need to be in attendance on the delivery day. Any damages must be reported to us on the day of delivery and photographic evidence supplied. Returns are accepted and we must be notified of this within 14 days from receipt of the order. Charges are made for returning items to us. The original delivery charge is non-refundable. A restocking charge and collection charge will be applicable.
