Limestone Flat Roof Chippings Ideal for use in covering flat roofing such as bitumen felt based flat roofs, to protect against sun & weather damage.

Limestone flat roof chippings are supplied in 25kg Polythene Bag. The chippings range from 1mm to 6mm. 

Use in flat roofing: recommendations

It is recommended to use a Cold Gritting Adhesive around the flat roof perimeter area. This will help to secure the chippings to the roof area, thus minimising the chance of chippings being blown or washed over the edge of the roof.

Other uses for limestone

Limestone is often used in garden projects, with uses ranging from decorative in lawn borders through to mixing with other materials (such as shingle & sand) for use in drainage or as a sub-base material for paving and hard landscaping.

Colour variations of limestone 

These are typically a Light Grey in colour, but colours may vary due to it being a natural material.

Please note that this a natural product and so the colour, shape and size can vary. The images are representative only. The chippings will be a mix of sizes up to 6mm in general. These can also be wet once bagged and so you may get wet chippings in the bag. 

We also stock 6mm granite flat roof chippings, should you prefer a darker colour.
